Letters to Eleanore: The Documentary

Letters to Eleanore (LTE) is a feature-length documentary about disability, perseverance, the freedom of wheelchairs and the endurance of love. LTE won Best Documentary in the Minority Film Festival in New Jersey, September 27, 2024. Board member Sammie Wakefield proudly received the award together with the film colorist, Jeff Kyle, at the Hudson county Community College.

Letters to Eleanore is currently entered in 10 film festivals and waiting for confirmation from 29 others across the globe. Tamara and filmmaker Nich Perez attended the community screening in Litchfield, MN this fall, joining documentary participants Lisa and Olivia at the Litchfield Middle School.

We are looking forward to sharing the Eleanore’s Project story with the world!
